The journey unfolds...

I sat at home in Switzerland having returned from nearly three years away living in Poland.I was exhausted and my focus remained on gaining publicity for the Polish GLBT project that I worked on without success or notoriety. I needed to devise a publicity scenario which I could use to highlight the Polish plight. One spring evening after a telephone conversation with a friend who was sharing the latest exploits and gossip stateside an opportunity presented itself or so I thought. After the conversation with my friend I reflected on one piece of information given. “Unzipped” magazine had offered Levi Johnston $35,000 if he would make a photo session with them. According to the news reports and comments of Levi’s manager Mr. Rex Butler his client would consider the proposal if the money was correct. I begin to surmise that if Levi and his manager were considering the gay porn magazine editors offer so what if a mainstream magazine offered him such an opportunity? I began to put the motions in gear and what happen after was a business deal that went south, as in bad.

I did not know Levi prior to this event but Greg Weiner the chief photographer of Playgirl I knew from a meeting twelve years prior. I'd invited Greg from New York City to Arizona to compose a Men of Arizona pictorial. I also arranged locations for photo sessions including the utilization of our home swimming pool and the exclusive Radius-Axis nightclub in Scottsdale, Arizona. Alternatively I was full time employed as a CNN journalist and produced press of the event. I also encouraged peers working at other Phoenix TV station to include in their news diffusion a human interest story about Playgirl and Greg – all of the additional five TV networks did. I made contact with all my gay and gay friendly closeted news peers to exploit the Playgirl in Arizona meme.

Naturally when I conceived the ideal of Levi Johnston doing a professional nude photo spread I contacted Greg Weiner in New York and proposed that I broker the deal. We discussed it prospects on the telephone and in emails. I also shared with Greg my desire for publicity through association of the photo coup for my Polish human and gay rights endeavor. Greg and I exchange many emails and talked on the telephone. The next day I contact Levi’s people and shared this with Rex Butler who was Levi’s manager and attorney. I recall one week passed and I introduced the two parties. In the end I and was left out of the concept publicity credit and payment phases.

I’d given Greg Weiner my friendship and trust however he had not earned it. Read complete synopsis here.

Seeking redress I reached out to various media organizations to share this story of Levi’s rise to pop-culture celebrity unfortunately as of this installment none have made inquiries with an interest.

This negative business experience is one of several in my artistic endeavors --- none have ever made me want to surrender. That is not my nature. With perseverance and endurance I share this story entwined within ten years of making of video from photo sessions around the world.

Each endeavor or production in visual arts I donate proceeds to worthy efforts towards human and GLBT rights.

I have learned that within the course of life’s journey that good fortunate does not discriminate between the deserving and not so deserving.

The Plot

''Levi Johnston: Don’t Move!'' is an amateur cutting edge documentary set against the backdrops of numerous European cities. The film follows the ten year journey of Lee Andrew an American national who in 2000 resigned his TV News position at the Phoenix, Arizona CNN affiliate KTVK 3TV to pursue his dreams. After the US Supreme court awarded the presidency to George W Bush , Lee, although a lifetime republican himself decided that he wanted no part of the compassionate conservative agenda.

Lee , is a student of photography and acrylic painting and considers himself an amateur in both vocations. Since ending his US Army military in 1983, he is a compensated DAV, Lee has engaged the homo erotic genre as well as promotion of talent. Everywhere he travels he has his film and video camera recording the moments of his sessions, amateur but with sincere passion.

Levi Johnston was a talent whom Lee made arrangements to secure for Playgirl, Inc. The failed accord negated left the artist without payment for services rendered and an opportunity to elevate his noteworthy charitable advocacy.

In the documentary he shares this and two other negative experiences involving the National Italian Rugby Team and Poland´s dysfunctional GLBT community. Throughout these setbacks the artist remains focused on creating beautiful art and assisting others in their quest for equality and freedom.

This film showcases the growth of an artist and humanitarian.

GLBT Activist Robert Biedroń Brutally Beaten By Polish Police [Video]

Initially I was reluctant to post about this matter because I loath the victim, also I am quite busy at the moment. Robert Biedroń, a member of the KPH Board and its former president was allegedly beaten and injured by the Polish Police and held for twenty hours before being allowed o notify family. Video below.

I make this post because, Robert Biedroń, is also in my new documentary film. Robert Biedrońs character lacks the moral fortitude to be a leader or trusted. He is an opportunist not an activist – his history has shown itself in his private actions. He has decimated homosexuals within Poland's gay community whom he has disagreed. Read here, here and here.

Ironically the Polish GLBT and Equality Foundation and parade are featured plots in "Levi Johnston: Don't Move!" For the record I condemn the actions by the Polish Police, unconditionally. Violence against homosexuals or any citizens of free democratic republics by law enforcement is inexcusable and should not be tolerated. I have made an official protest to the treatment of citizen Biedroń to my government with hopes that it shall be forwarded via the official envoy.

The GLBT situation in Poland is dreadful and I would encourage my western peers and colleagues to pullout and back from any and all associations. A huge storm is coming onto Polands GLBT scene and those who embolden the alleged fraud will be held accountable.

It is my experience that Robert Biedroń and persons involved in these associations have proven themselves to be dishonest as they siphon western donations meant to go to the GLBT. If you donate to a major GLBT organization it would be wise to ask if it contributes to Poland's GLBT NGO's.

Poland needs our help but to support individuals and organizations who haven't neither integrity nor honor defeats that noble intent of equality and human rights.

For lack of kinder words these organizations have perpetrated fraud and for those gays who wish to turn a blind eye you are just as guilty as they are. This especially includes the gay media.

Read what the gay-media has reported on the story to date UKGayNews and Xtra.

According to the mainstream newspaper Gazeta Wyborcza, the police pressed charges of battery of a police officer against Mr Biedroń.

Gazeta Wyborcza reported that, “according to the police, Mr Biedroń grabbed the policeman’s baton and then hit him in the face”.

“You know me, I’ve never displayed any aggression against anyone, and I’d certainly never display aggression against a uniformed police officer in full gear,” siad Biedroń.

This video stream below shows Robert Biedroń two years ago before his force out. In it he boasts about his new automobile, business and fancy apartment in Warsaw. Guess where this farmer boy got the money?

“Levi Johnston: Don’t Move!”–a new documentary (Review)

This is the first review of our film by Amos Lassen writes on his blog:

“Levi Johnston: Don’t Move” follows ten years of Lee Andrew and his European travels. As he travels between North Africa and Europe, he photographs men—men from all walks of life and this is a behind the scenes log of his travels. As for Levi Johnston, Andrews was the broker who made all of the arrangements for “Playgirl” nude photo shoot. This is what opened the door for him even though he was not publicly recognized nor paid for making the deal. Yet he soon became a name in his own right and he soon became a requested photographer and he shares his experiences with us whether they be about photographing the Italian Rigby team or other jobs such as LGBT in Poland. Lee is focused and is the kind of photographer and man who is willing to go out of his way for others. His work is beautiful and this is a look at a man that we might never have seen..."

TV Guide Magazine Article On "Levi Johnston: Don’t Move!”

This makes two mentions this week for our friends and we are all giddy with excitement. "Levi Johnston: Don’t Move!” has made it full circle when the national publication "TV Guide" makes a mention in its weekly edition plus includes a link to the films trailer and IMDb page. If you don't know the back story beyond the hype keep an eye here as we post an exclusive that you don't wont to miss, trust us. We don't know how long this article will remain on TV Guide's website but it was refreshing to see it displayed on this somewhat conservative mainstream organizations portal. Remember the saying that there is no type of bad publicity - all publicity is a good thing especially in this situation because it then challenges the integrity of those responsible for this charade. Exposure is what we seek and redress.
